Advice on the value of my X5

Post by jonamv8 » Thu Jan 20, 2011 3:59 pm

Hi all,

My warranty is coming to an end shortly and I'm thinking of selling my X5 and using my Aston as my daily runner. Although, I will be looking at picking up another 4x4 in September to see me through the winter months, an E53 X5 will be very near the top of my list too!

So mine is as follows:

54 Plate
3.0d M Sport
Estoril Blue / Full Black Leather Interior
19 Inch 5 Spoke BMW Alloys
Good Tyres
63,500 Miles
Full BMW Service History
12 Months MOT
6 Months Tax
Full Comms Pack Including TV with TV in Motion Fitted
Re-Mapped by Jason @ B&W - returning 33mpg
Just had a new Turbo fitted by Sytner BMW 2 months ago

Car in excellent condition, I'm quite sad and regularly detail it using snow foam and a host of autoglym products.

So the million dollar question, what's it worth guys?

Thanks in advance for your advice

Why sell a car you like and know only to replace in eight months?
2004 E53 3.0D Sport
2016 F25 X5 35D MSport

I don't want to extend the warranty and the missus has just been giving a very practical company car free of charge so we don't need 3 cars. I'f I lose the X5 I'm up to the tune of over £400 PCM when you consider tax, insurance, finance remaining etc.

I understand your point but my circumstances dictate my actions.

Bigshout - thanks for coming back to me. I was thinking around the £15k mark after checking Pistonheads/Autorader etc but wasn't sure if they were actually selling at that or not. Thinking the recent cold snap should have helped sustain values

jon,

Have you advertised your car yet? Just wondering what sort of response/discount punters are looking?
