passenger side floor water

hi all iv checked google and most places before writing here incase i could find common fault.
iv got a 2001 X5 it has NO sunroof and just checked passeneger side floor and its like a swimming pool. its really bad.
all other sides are dry just passenger side front is soaked.
iv cleaned all the drain holes under scuttle pannel and idea where else this would be coming from.

It can be a badly fitted replacement windscreen, sometimes windscreens fitted in the middle of the night at the size of the road can sometimes not be sealed 100%.
It's very difficult to find leaks. Also there have been reports of the pipework going to the rear wash/ wipe can come apart at a joint under the seats.
Door aperture rubber seals damaged/ worn adrift, plastic sheet membrane behind the door card.

Even screens fitted in the workshop can leak, I have suffered this and with the rain we have had you would be amazed at just how much water comes in through a gap you cant see.

Mine turned out to be a tiny amount of old adhesive that hadn't been cleaned off, once refitted no issues.

Also check the door seals, window seals and door card liner moisture barrier, and that the lid for the under bonnet electrics box (back right looking from the front) lid is fully secure and clipped on.  That box links through to the fuse box above the glovebox.

the carpet that goes up under the fash towards the top is bone dry.
its just the foot area is like a puddle.
havnt had windscreen replaced.
another thing i noticed is right nehind back light is soaking wet. resealed all the light back up stil really wet cant make sense of it.

Suggestion..

i had similar recently..
The culprit was that thr door rubber seal was not pushed in tight to the door frame, water tracked into the car running down behind the seal on the metal edges & then into the floor...

Additionally, a small chaff in the seal can guide the water into the vehicle at that point & then into the bottom at the lowest part of the seal.

I also make a point of wiping liquid silicone on the seals which repel lots of water.

I had this problem with the NSR door. At the door striker, pull off the black trim. Check if the arrows on the striker and door shut face are aligned. Mine weren't and only a tiny adjustment was enough to pull the door in just enough to achieve a seal - no leaks since

Oh, and I was plagued with small quantities of water getting into the void below the NSR light - that's also dry now

similar issue...
the water can creep in in several ways...
the lens can seperate from the reflector... and a thorough clean with a rag & break cleaner followed with a beed of solvent weld will sort this issue properly for good.
dry the lens out on a household radiator before re-assembly.
a smeer of vasalene on the mating surfaces will also help... and ensure the lamp AND bodywork surfaces are clean.

the other leak point to the tail bage seals... especially there the gates meet on the ourer seal...

again... clean the rubber seal & mating surface, smeer with either vasalene of silivone lubricant from the motor store  & this will sort thos leak point...
also ensure the upper & lower gates are closing tightly enough.

same applies for all the door seals.
