Well, first impressions of the new qualifying are that it's chaotic, frantic, weird and fun! I've just witnessed the first '90 sceond elimination' and I shan't spoil anything by giving any details, but so far, I like it.
The fact that the teams are not allowed to make radio contact with the drivers is definitely a discussion point.

Right - just finished watching the whole qualifying session and NO NO NO. I don't like it at all. I won't spoil it for anyone watching the highlights later today, so all I will say is that it's not right. The first few minutes were frantic, but after that...
