Well spotted, I'm running Dura ace 9070 up front, 50/34 compact Di2, but due to my lack of climbing/ mountaineering prowess I'm running Ultegra 6870 mid cage RD Di2 on the rear as it now caters for an 11/32 rear cassette. (11 speed) I found the DA 11/28 rear cassette is too high for me ( reminder, eat less and train more )
I went from a Shimano Sora Triple on my last bike to Di2 on this one and love the silent / idiot proof gear changes.
I've read so many forum threads on electronic shifting VS mechanical it's comical, but for me it's the dogs

I tried my mates di2 electronic. He has the same bike as the manc missile and the gear shifting is unreal. When i stop and think about it, i almost want to sell the X3 and buy the baddest bike available

I think there is a real future for electric bikes. I struggle to cycle for than a couple of days into London (22 miles each way), but an electric bike would allow me some rest along the way.
Craziest thing is it takes me just as long during rush hour in the car

Not sure if this is the correct place, but I have a Lapierre Pro Race 700 full carbon, which was built to spec rather than price and to be as light as possible. It cost £2400 to build and I would sell for £700.

You'd need to be able to recharge your bike during the day - I tend not to get more than 30 miles maximum from one charge. My battery takes about 4 hours for a full recharge, but you'd probably be able to get away with a shorter charge to get her back home in the evenings.

Visiting customers? Very plausible as long as you don't over exert yourself on the way there, and carry a small deodorant. I have done this for 2 summers

Would it be an idea to drive to work and use an electric bike for your customer visits? You'd make quite a saving on deodorants.

I mix up my travel arrangements depending on final location and weather.
Drive in/out
Drive to station - take folding bike on underground trains.
Ride folder to overground, get off at paddington and ride to destination.
Ride my hybrid all the way in/out
