2007 E70 30D DPF Regen frequency (Town driving)

Hi all,

What sort of regen interval do you guys get with a bout of town driving?

I recently bought the Carly app and have been keeping an eye on things, I'm getting about 180 miles before a regen with only town driving which is what I've been doing over the last couple of weeks.

I've noticed the soot level jumps up fairly quickly with town driving, after 30 - 40 miles it's about 25g.
It seems to be regenerating fine and when it does the soot mass drops down to about 2g (ash mass is at 30.5g).

Got 70k on the clock, always use Vpower, no additional tank additives.
Dash MPG reads in the low 20's but I guess the cold weather isn't helping that much.

Any thoughts, does it sound normal?

Sounds about right for town driving.  On a motorway/higher speed road you would expect the regen distance to double and the mpg to go into the 30s
