Probably the same as the E53. 60,000 miles? BMW have said they are 'lifetime' parts, but we know their version of 'lifetime' is worthless!
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.-

Mine has 60k on it and I recently asked my local auto box specialist. He said 80-100k miles.

I was told by my BMW indie specialist that you either do it before 80k miles or leave it well alone. I took his advice on the E60 at 80k and she was gearbox faultless when i sold at 120k
