Looks like bmw drivers speed the most (over 100mph)

Sometimes we need to view statistics like these in perspective, while not defending excessive speeding we know that just about all of us have cruised above the legal limit at some time (statistics say 85mph on Motorways)
So for a bit of sanity Government figures show 31154342 cars were registered on the UK roads in Q3 2015
that does not include Buses Trucks or Vans it also excludes all foreign vehicles.

So for balance 2000 people represents roughly 0.0064% of drivers 

I think the real question is with 31 million cars on the road where the hell did they find room?

One of my colleagues (Audi driver) unfairly said the BMWs were most probably all stolen!  >:D

I guess it was just the slower bmw models that got caught speeding  :))

I saw a very nice black BMW speeding, as I drove through Essex today. He also had 2 blue lights flashing in his radiator grille and he was making a funny 'woo woo' noise.
