Re: Pdc fault
I have similar probs on my X5....
tracking these down is a damned nuisance...
Im gonna put up with it until its drier & warmer, so I can check everything out.
same bleeping & flashing issues... but none of the sensors CLICK and no hint of which is at fault..
ive checked the modules and the boot is dry & moisture free... so I just gott not reverse into anything meanwhile lol

Re: Pdc fault
Get up close and personal to each pdc sensor and listen for the clicking sound.
"No clicky-no worky"
Front and rear sensors were different part numbers on the E60 so double check before buying for your car. New from BMW are pricey, so i would buy 1 of each 2nd hand/breakers etc

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
Re: Pdc fault
Just my belated two pence worth.... I bought 3 amazon/eBay specials a couple years ago for my e39 and at £12 each they were fine. Luck of the draw maybe but I'd rather put in new cheapos than old scrappy pdc sensors.
Re: Pdc fault
Just ordered 8 new ones as well as new cages and surrounds sensor from eBay cages and surrounds from BMW all done in one swoop

Yes I sometimes use this method too. The actual PDC seems to be more hassle than it is worth.
