3.0d if that makes any difference? Anyway the front is making a squeaking / creaking noise and sometimes a bit of a clunk when driving, often noticeable when turning the wheel around corners or over speed bumps and so on.
The noise, or at least a very similar one, can be replicated by bouncing up and down on the front of the car and it sounds like it is coming from around the front wheels on both sides.
Any suggestions as to what this might be and how much wallet pain is going to be involved in putting it right? It had new suspension arms only a couple of thousand miles ago, so I don't think it can be that.
The car drives absolutely fine otherwise.

Does sound like a ball joint or bush tbh. There are 2 control arms each side and so would check there first.

Yeah it is the ball joints, not a big job at least.
