Hi.
Had my 2007 E70 for a little over a month now, and gradually doing all the little jobs that always seem to be present when you buy a car.
My next task is the headlight washers, the build code says they are fitted, but they don't seem to work. Im trying them with engine running and main lights on, i believe they are supposed to work every 5th time.
I was going to try and put an airline on the bottle outlet and test pump, low level switch etc, but it looks like the car was assembled around the bottle and ancillaries!.
Im guessing wing off, or possibly inner arch to get to it...anyone done this or is there an easier way that im missing?
cheers
Rik

E70 Headlight Washers Not Working
Re: E70 Headlight Washers Not Working
Hi Rik, When I got my 2007 X5 a few months back the headlight washers didn't work. After putting it into a bmw dealer for a minor service and software update they started working again. I asked the service guy did they do something to fix them but he told me they didn't go near them and they weren't even aware there was an issue. It just got me thinking perhaps the software update/reset got them going again.
