DVD, MP3 player, CD player

I'm seeing some of the X3 M Sports 2008 / 2009 advertised with 'DVD, MP3 player, CD player'...

Is this the main head unit with the capability to play :
a DVD disc - film, music files and / or the navigation ?
a CD with MP3 files on it (Burned)
a CD (proper pressed type, not burned)

Is the sound system any good ? (my previous was a Harman Kardon logic 7, excellent sound)

Also some seem to come with a 6 disc changer in arm rest, is this an easy retro fit if not present ?

Do they have an aux input anywhere to feed an iPhone / mp3 player into them ?

Being limited to 1 disc will be a PITA, however if that was a DVD disc, full of MP3's, that's not too bad.

Most likely yes.  Plus a burned CD with normal sound files too.

The system may have two drives up front, one Nav and one CD/DVD. It might also have a multi changer in the glovebox.  Some multi changers are DVD or CD drives depending on original fit.

DVD is for the NAV system only and is in the boot.
CD player will be a single disc in the head-unit that can play MP3 files.
Mine has a 6 disc cd player in the front armrest
From late 2006 (facelift) they have an AUX in the rear of the front armrest in the ashtray

The sound system is pretty good and don't think many people would be disappointed.
