My manifold dilema with pics!!!

Post by Rusty » Wed Jan 19, 2011 12:46 am

X555, just a quick question (I'm sure it isn't helpful at this point); With the welded manifold, how far out of square was the end port?

I was only wondering if it would have been possible to have 'packed' the gap with additional gasket material?

Great post though mate, and great job too. As others have said, not many would have undertaken such a job. Hats off to you.

Great point mate  but it wasn't just set back from the other ports it was on a slight angle so not being 100% sure wether the extra gaskets/packing would work (and at £30 a time for a set of gaskets :o ) I thought fu@k it i'm not re doing all this again  bite the bullet and get a new one ;)
Good idea mind
