Well after some time away from an X we've just purchased a new 2.0D M Sport X3 for Mrs. Mogsyman.

Pre-built but I'm happy with the spec

Space Grey
Factory spec +

Professional media
M Sport Design package (sun protection, Zenon, Harman/Kardon)
Auto, 8 speed
Pano roof
Folding dimming mirrors
Enhanced Bluetooth
Reversing camera
5 years servicing

Got a great trade in on the 120D M Sport and look forward to picking the X up next week.

As some will be aware I've been fortunate enough to have a 3.0D E53, 4.8iS E53, E70 30D and then I left the fold.

I've tried to pursuade Mrs M to have an F15 but for the school run the opinion is it's simply too big in the lanes we live in which is a shame. However the 3 has been on the horizon for some time and it appears now demand has slowed somewhat deals are to be had and I've taken the opportunity whilst I can.

Thanks for the comment, it certainly has eye appeal and has grown up over the years into a very nice place to be in

How is the Rugby Team developing now?

Good to see the replacement, looking nice - and the X3 is a nice place to be in.

Been busy abroad as well as getting the production of the gate / garage control systems on the go  - first units ready late February. You can place your order then  )

Gate/garage control systems...........

Is that what we were talking about a year os so ago?

Yep, lot of development went into that - commissioned the mould creation now for the casing.

Current additional development is for geo-referencing so you can give the Open command when you leave from wherever and when you get in proximity, it will open your gates from your estate.

Obviously, does not prevent the 20 kids from escaping the estate though ...  )

I have mine connected to the garden lights as well so is controlling that as well.

That sounds like a plan albeit I'll probably still bring the M5 if that's ok
