Hello,
I need a bit of advice on how to connect my dash cam to my e53 M62 - to the fuse box but what pins and how ?
The dash cam is a Pittasoft Blackvue DR550GW-2CH it is connected to the optional blackvue power magic pro battery discharge prevention device (user manual and schematics attached)
Thanks.

Re: I need a bit of advice on how to connect my dash cam to my e53 M62
I am in the process of fitting a Transcend 220 dash cam in mine at the moment. I am going the easy route and wiring a 12v plug socket to the glove box fitted flash light supply and running the wire in there where it will be left plugged in as the flash light power supply is an ignition live.
Fuse box supply is the proper route but i can't be bothered with gaining access to the back of the fuse box to hard wire it in.
I looked into what rating fuse the glove box flashlight charger uses and what else is it supplies which i think is only the sun visor courtesy lights and with most dash cams only pulling 1 amp max the 7.5 amp fuse for that supply should be more than manly enough for the job.

I think I used the same circuit on my E53. You can get piggyback fuse connectors now so no new wiring into the loom needed.
