Hi All
I was wondering if I could ask for your advice. I did do a search on this but found little information. I came home last night from a trip away to be informed by my missus that she had (yet again) damaged the X5. Long and the short of it is that she has badly damaged a side board/running board meaning we cannot open the passenger doors. They clearly need replacing but the idea of spending £400+ on used official ones seems far to steep and BMW want £374.07 each plus fitting. So I found these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-X5-E70-07 ... 0OoFhIb8fg
Has anyone had to replace their Running boards is so have they fitted non OEM ones... Problem is I need to sort this today as I am travelling tomorrow.....
Thanks in advance....
RC.

Probably as Reusch says eBay second hand as a lot of e70 bits for sale and being genuine BMW you can be sure they will fit.
You could take the near side running board off for time being that way you could open the doors not pretty but a possible work around. Good luck with the repair
