Hi guys,
I'm getting a tappy rattly metallic kind of noise when accelerating its always been there but it's starting to bother me as to whether this is normal or not?
Anyone have any ideas?

on my 3.0 D-Sport, I some times get this, and it tends to only be noticeable when there is a road centre barrier or siding, where the sound rebounds from...
I have ONE engine valve ticking anyway, so I'm wondering what I can do about that... have used various oil additives when oil changed that boast to free up sticky hydraulic valves to no avail, and some injector cleaner too...
If you have a petrol engine, some times the injectors are know to make noise when they are "doing their thing" under load...
But ticking on a diesel is either tapping valves, or normal diesel knock sounds echoing from under the vehicle or road sidings...
