Winter tyres on an SD?

Hi All,

Last year I bought a set of 17" winter wheels for my then 2.0d X3 SE.

Anyone know if these will fit the 3.0SD? Just wondering in case the brakes are different.

Im pretty sure that you need 18"'s due to the size of the brakes on the sd.  Will have to check the size of my winters tomorrow
