After removing a horrible phone holder I found this under the headunit
Tried looking it up but found nothing
Anyone know what it is/was used for?
Cheers

Re: Soundlinx POD01RDS?
that looks like it plugs into the Ipod (or another) and transmits audio over a radio frequency..
Not sure what frequency that would be though....
Basically you can listen to your tunes on the radio...

If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
Please note...
Anything I say is only from my personal experience and knowledge..
I don't assume to know everything, and know there is a lot I don't know..
But then I could be talking bollox.. O:-)

Re: Soundlinx POD01RDS?
Something from about 10 years ago. As suggested looks like it plugged into the iPod and then radiated over VHF to the radio receiver using RDS to send the track ID tag.
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

Sounds like something I wouldn't need or want so will safely remove it.
