Hi all

Post by V3LBM » Wed Oct 28, 2015 8:47 pm

Just bought myself an X5 3.0D to replace my beloved E39 525D manual touring, as I need a 4x4 now.

Hate to part with the old girl, and it's certainly going to take a while to get used to an auto gearbox! Lol!

Still, needs must and I am very pleased with my new toy as it has loads of extras including heated front and rear seats, pre-heat system and panoramic roof  :) :) :)

Already having fun fixing door handle mechs and doing a few jobs here and there until my tourer sells and I get this one into daily use.

All the best,

Tony

Welcome.

My 3.0D is my first auto, but surprised how easily and quickly I got used to it with 370lb/ft at my disposal.
