It wasn't anything you did or said- a moderation decision due to certain posts. I'm sure mod pvr will explain in due course don't let it put you off.

Thank you very much for the reply Mars, I'm sure pvr will explain all, but it would be nice to be informed beforehand.

Hi there, mods deleted.  As an issue was raised with the manner of certain responses to your questions which was out of keeping with the forum as a whole.  We are a friendly bunch here and it was not a true reflection of membership for a new member looking for info like yourself.

Whats the latest with the wheel claim? warranty? and what are you looking at changing the car for? newer X5 or something totally different?

The relevant part of the thread will return shortly, apologies for the confusion but it went out of control.

thanks very much kjb 1 and pvr for your help to sort out the confusion with my topic,
and i'm sure kjb 1 you all are a friendly bunch, as for my x5, still waiting on wheels arriving and car has only done 11000 miles from new (2012) and isn't getting used enough as far as i'm concerned,
so it might be time to let it go. :(

Mine has done 14k miles in the same time, no plans to let it go as when I do use it, I really enjoy driving it.

Cars to me are like expensive paintings - some like to have those, I like to look at my cars. My Golf I have only done 400 miles in 4 years and would never sell it.

Dont get me wrong pvr, i really enjoy driving mine aswell but we just got a new family car recently
and the x5 is a lot of money just sitting in the garage, By the way the good wife thinks its too big for her to drive, hence she is hardly in it.

Golf???? 400 miles, that is wow! however I 100% agree, would far rather a garage of beautiful metal to look at than a fine painting etc.
