4x4 DSC warning after flat battery

Post by Pedro » Mon Oct 12, 2015 9:59 am

Hi,
First time owner of an X5 - 2005 4.8is - purchased last Friday. Went to use this morning and had flat battery - AA have been out and started me ok - looks like I'd left lights on Auto yesterday to cause drain, however I'm now left with the 4x4 DSC warning light on (not on previously) - anyone able to shed light on whether this is a "common" drained battery issue or not?

Hmmmmm will have to look into that then - it was AA man who reported lights on as he drove up to car, ignition was off at the time, I checked switch to find it on auto........gotta admit I didn't then walk round the front and check for myself - any other known common battery drains with ignition off?

Turn off ignition check lights with switch set to auto and then off,see what happens could be faulty light sensor
