Cancel your DD - you have to pay to the end of this month.

New owner must tax it from the beginning of this month.

Guess what - DVLA just got two payments for that one car in the month of November, daylight robbery!

Taxed car 1st August on monthly DDr

Sold same car on 17th August

New owner taxed the car for the whole of August on 17th August before he drove car away

DVLA took monthly DDr for September on 2nd September from us. Presumably also took September amount from new owner for September, as well.

Bought new car on 19th August and taxed it via DDr on same day.

SORN'd on 31st August because it will now be off road till mid Jan

DVLA take August and September tax on 2nd September.

When you sell or SORN, cancel the fecking DDr or the robbing bastards will charge you and make you wait months for the refund.
