Good day there, I'm going to buy bmw x3, but there's a chance for me to get 3.0d and 2.0d also.
I'm driving for over 20 years and I can say I'm good at it. I'm driving over 1200km/750miles per week. If that can help. Could anyone give me a tip? Is it better to buy 3.0d or stick with 2.0d?

Re: Need recommendation
The X3 is a great car but have you thought about an X1 ? not too much smaller and better fuel economy .

Hi and welcome. I haven't driven an X3 but have plenty of experience of both the 3.0d and 2.0d. The 2.0d is a great engine, very economical and plenty of pull and in most circumstances more than enough. However the 3.0d is much smother and even has a decent sound. Needless to say it's got a lot more power and still economical if driven sensibily.
If you are not put off by the extra cost of the car and fuel then the 3,0 d is the engine of choice.
Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Welcome aboard.
Would be good to drive both, but be prepared for the extra pleasure that the 3.0 will bring )
Isn't the 2.0 also not meant to be in the dog house at the moment with the potential of the VW scandal?
