Back on land and had a look at the Bluetooth module again. I think its shot as tried the reset and still nothing. There's an indy up at Insch that has been recommended and will get them to sort it out.

One of the guys I work with was checking out my post and couldn't stop laughing at the "Folding wing mirrors " He did say that only trucks and lorries have wing mirrors so yes I have been told. :-[

Was thinking about the remote control mod for the Aux heater, but will do some more reading on Xdrivers.

Found the code for the Bluetooth. Still getting activate phone, on the screen. Tried all the different ways to get the Bluetooth to work even tried the reset and no joy.

I bought a set of folding mirrors from ebay for my car quite some time ago

From memory it just all plugged in

powerfold mirrors
drivers door window control panel with the fold button
Associated relay which I think goes behind the glovebox

Thats it ...just make sure its from a right hand drive

Pete,

When I bought my X5 I had a similar problem, my bluetooth wouldn't connect. Turned out to be a broken cable between somewhere in the armrest. Hope this helps.
