With the number of hair dryers they keep adding, they might as well go full gas turbine.....and use the IL6 as the starter/gas generator.... :))

It's beginning to get a little silly now.  I know it's to do with not making the emissions any worse etc, but come on there must be a better way than just bolting more turbos on?

my mercedes was the right idea 6.3 v8 n/a engine  ;), none of this turbo'd rubbish

Not sure what they were trying to measure as CO2 and NO are the difficult ones and I definitely would not want to breathe either of them!  Did they mean particulates?

Hence cleaner engines meeting EU5 appearing in short order! 

Some of the late E53/early E70 cars are Band L (or worse) but dropped several bands once the N57 series engine appeared from 2010.

My 57 plate X5 3.0d was £475 a year to tax due to emissions  :o
