Heated Seat not working

Post by E46ACS » Mon Sep 14, 2015 11:28 am

Hi All,

First post and it's an issue....

I have just picked up an '07 E70 and the drivers heated seat does not work. Push the button and all three lights come on, and then immediately go out.

Passenger seat works fine.

I am assuming that it could be a multitude of things: broken wire, fuse, element, etc.

Any obvious things I should be looking at first?

Thanks in advance.

Oh, it's a 1 owner car and judging by the outside bolster on the drivers seat, it looks the owner, urm, hadn't skipped many meals!  :))

Could be a blown element if all of the lights come on.  Seat rebuild job to replace it.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
