Re: Moving On
Yes that's the one. The Leaf is fitted with a Type 1 socket, the type 2 socket is the standard so a type 2 plug required for fast chargers. Rapid chargers are already fitted with a cable and suitable plug.

Re: Moving On
Ok, no real deal to be had at present but he is expecting a deal to become available in the near future. If they can wait then do so and I'll let you know once the deal has been released. Also let your friends know that there is a new larger battery on the latest cars (30kw) and to ensure they go for that and not the older 24kw car.

Re: Moving On
Don, just wanted to say thanks. Car arrived on 27thSept and don't think we have ever enjoyed a car as much. So much so that I sold the X5 yesterday. It has made me more aware of the damage I have been doing running the Diesel. Not turning into a tree hugger, but just being a little more thoughtful in our approach to the environment. The Leaf is awesome, so happy with it. Wife adores it too which is all the better as its her car. Thanks again. G![Image](http://i62.tinypic.com/30bo0p0.jpg)

Re: Moving On
No worries BigG.
I'm sold on the electric vehicle concept but looking forward to something with a little more puff and range......say a Tesla S or even X in a couple of years.
