Well come on, share the deal  ;)

I'd have to shoot you

He said he owes you commission and I said you said that you didn't want it and we could take it off the price of the car
[/quote]

Ha, ha. So I'll be lucky if I see a Chinese take away then.

;) ;)

He just knocked some off the metallic paint

ours going great too!! only issue ( if you can call it that ) is the alloys are ghosting under the lacquer, going milky colour in places.  Might head down to local dealer to look at claiming on warranty.

Has anyone used the free use of dealership car yet to go further afield?

I do like the new Qashqai when fully spec'd up!!

I have took a car for ten days while the family visited Aberdeen earlier in the summer. I did have to pay for Nissan insurance (£80) as my insurance company wouldn't cover another car while my leaf was sat on the driveway.

Only wife and daughter in tow so trust me when I say I tried very hard to get a GT-R. Ended up with a Pulsar, it's there new family hatch. Lots of toys and plenty of space but soooooo boring to look at.

Hi Big 'G'

I've just had an email from the dealership, a very good deal so if interested ring Jackie direct at Aberdeen Specilist Cars 01224 402 990.

Hi Don,

here the special deal for you and your friends.
only till end of this month
LEAF TEKAN non metallic  paint
6,000 miles PCP x24months
£1499 deposit  customer deposit
£86.97pm

let me know what you think. better deal on TEKNA than the Acenta .

regards
Jacky

Deal done. Spoke to Jack Chan last week, made everything very straightforward. Also posted on CarWOW, but could not get payments under £200pm without over 2k deposit.
Jacky did me the deal, you mentioned. So we have a Tekna to collect on the 20th Sept from the Perth depot. Easier for me being near Edinburgh. Only delay was I wanted to sit in one to see if my fat arse would be ok, so took the wife to a dealer in Edinburgh on Fri morning. Have to say how amazed I was at the head room and how easy to get in and out of it, it was. She liked this too as she has a Plastic knee (only 45) and the Golf is much lower.

So can't wait for our flame red Tekna to be ready for us. Now I need to sort out getting one of the 16amp charges fitted. Jacky advised this lot https://www.chargemasterplc.com/index.p ... home-units and sent me info on how to claim back the cost.

So far very happy! Thanks again to all of your for the help. G

Struggling to register for Leaf Talk, it won't allow me. Fill in the fields then nothing happens on second page. Tried other computers but just the same, thought it might be a mac thing.

Was wondering about the best home charger point to get. Any advice appreciated.

I did a little research and felt the Rolec was the best option.  I also paid to get the upgrade 32amp model.  Although it gives no advantage with the standard Leaf I felt that when I replace this leaf there is a high likelihood that the next generation will have the 6.6kw charger fitted as standard.
