DPF regeneration.?

Post by Nine468 » Fri Aug 14, 2015 10:57 am

Hi.
Im trying to clear something up.
I have been told that the DPF WONT regen if i have the car in cruise control.
Is that correct or not.?

I realise the car has to be travelling at above 40mph and a steady 2000 revs or more for aprox 20 mins to get it to regen.
So if im on the Mway at 80mph and aprox 2500rpm with cruise control ON for more than 20 mins will it not regen.??

Thanks.

More owners say they use cruise control and it works than say it doesn't.  Can't see why cruise mode would make a difference.  It's the rpm and temperature that count.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
