X6M

Post by Sustanon250 » Sat Mar 07, 2015 8:00 am

Just traded in my amazing 2011 E70 X5 40d for a 2014 X6M - test drove it Tuesday , fell head over heels in love and was on my drive by Thursday !!!

Absolutely amazing to drive , only downsides are horrific fuel economy (have had 9.6 mpg around town) and rediculous road tax (£500)

Hi

Very cool not many of them about and I'm sure with effort you could get the fuel consumption lower

I'm sure you will enjoy it and from your past cars you like them with a lot of power.  Same as an X5M which has the same twin turbo engine.

If you have alook on YouTube there is a video of an X5M out dragging an M3 V8 coupe just so funny you don't expect a big car to go that well.

I managed about 6 mpg at one point when I took out my brother in laws Bentley the 12 cyclinder one out  :( but the best bit was I gave it back.

So are we saying your next purchase is either a petrol station or a petrol tanker to follow you around  :))
Now: E70 X5 in Blue, 3 Minis Cooper S R53, JCW R56 & Cooper S Roadster R59 :drive:

Prev: Abarth 595C & 500C, E53 X5 4.4i, E88 135i M Sport, Audi TT Mk1 V6, 3 Smarts, 8 Vauxhalls, 4 Fords, 2 Triumphs, 1 Mini & Bikes

I wish there was a drool emoji!

If you've still got that 69ER number plate you should stick it on that - what a beast.

Many thanks guys and gals for your kind words  :o

The 9.6mpg was actually driving like a granny , should easily get it in the 5's with some effort!

Already been messaging DTUK regarding their plug and play tuning box that raises power to 660+

Car was pre-registered to BMW which I guess enabled them to discount the car from £90k ish to £56k  :))

Had a bit of a race with my mate in his E39 m5 (superb cars) which he has owned since new !!!!!

Needles to say , the X6 was quicker .....

BTW Ice Queen I'm keeping my 69ER plate now but it stays on the 911turbo, I have another plate for this "B1CEP"
