warning sound

Post by Bluestaffy09 » Sat Aug 08, 2015 8:54 pm

I randomly get a warning bleep but no message comes up. It's only 1 bleep and it happens at random times while driving. Anyone know what it could be?

Most likely a speed limit warning.  You can set a limit at which the car gently bongs to point out to you that you are exceeding that limit.  Can be set anywhere from about 20mph upwards I think.

If not that then it might be the clock chime is set.

Doesn't the speed limit actually display 'Speed' ???

I deny all inferences as being in any way accurate and as being totally baseless!

Just in case....
Have you got lots of junk piled on other seats in the vehicle.... maybe the vehicle is detecting an occupant without a seat belt on & causing the warning chime.... I often get this issue due to a seat full of junk...
don't always get the "seat-belt" sign come up tho...

just a thought...

That is just soooo annoying when that happens....
Especially as keeping the heated seats on helps prolong the temperature of the takeaway I have plonked there!!
I end up strapping it in to stop it flying everywhere!!
