3.0d leak in rear air bag - best place for replacement

Post by sunnybono » Mon Jul 13, 2015 6:06 pm

Hi,

My 3.0d has been sinking on the rear a bit overnight but was never that bad, however it has now gotten worse and you can hear it hissing with the engine off. Found the part number on realoem (37126750356) but can't seem to find a place for a none BMW option - any ideas? Ebay comes up with a couple options but not sure how good they are.

Also, any ideas on hours (for a garage) to perform the swap? Is it difficult?

Thanks in advance.

Arnott airbags are supposed to be the best do a Google search for a UK supplier, most change them as a pair, as if ones perished the other one won't be far behind.

Beet me to it :)

Bought the arnott one in the end and it was 1 hour labour to get sorted. Not so bad in the end.
