Planning on doing rear ball joints at the weekend - tool required

Post by acarty » Wed Apr 08, 2015 11:46 pm

Hi All,

I'm planning on changing the rear ball joints on the x this weekend. I have had 'the squeak' for a while now and it's got to a point where it's embarrasing to drive! Does anyone by any chance have the ball joint press tool sat in there garage somewhere that I could rent for the weekend? Andy

Hi How did you get on?.
I'm in the same position, need a tool.
Do you have any suggestions.
One thing I can comment on is that I replaced the bearings a year ago and they are squeeaking again.
They were not oem....
