Post by Micevo » Sat Aug 01, 2015 1:49 pm

After a just over a month of ownership I've finally got the X5 to how I like! It's the little things which annoy me so they had to be done,
MID pixels fixed, passenger door window (sticking when all the way down) fixed £7 , PDC sensor £9 eBay, headlight washers new pump £19 eBay ,driver door carrier£20 eBay ( what a pain that was in hindsight should of got genuine part, had to swop broke bit from new one to original, but now done) Aux fan now sorted £free just a bit of tinkering and swearing! And finally today lock barrel repair kit came £5 eBay fixed...

All code read and no codes  :) oh yea front seats all cleaned an looking good , off to car wash now and hopefully won't have to touch it for a while!!!  Well :)) :)) :))

Checked every connector changed temp switch made sure it would spin freely connected to scanner done a check and alls working :) could actually get the fan to spin via scanner,

I knew it was working through the other things I'd done , not sure what It actually was but probably a bit of all, could of been a bit of corrosion on a connector, I had a temp switch lying around so popped that in,

Cheers

Well eBay is certainly your friend. Hate to think what's those issues would have cost had you gone through a dealer workshop.  Sit back and enjoy the ride, you've deserved it.
