Faulty PDC

Post by Drumstick » Tue Jul 21, 2015 7:45 pm

Hi all, the PDC is not working on the front or rear of my X5. I get the 5 second beep when reverse is engaged and the LED flashes on the switch. I have listened to the sensors individually and they all click (there isn't one that sounds any louder or quieter than the others, but that may be my ears)
Does anyone have any ideas before I take it to my local auto elec.
thanks for any help.

Thanks for the reply.
How do I "check for errors"?
I take it that I need to plug something like the equivalent of vagcom in.
I don't have that equipment. Where could I take the car near the south Birmingham area.

Cheers

Try listening to each sensor I used a piece of tube if you hear a clicking it's ok if you hear nothing it's broke or connections no good,
You need ignition on and in reverse gear, you can get them off eBay for about a tenner each ,
He that helps
