Bit of a dilemma which one would you choose ?

Hesitation is the term here.

I had a Cayenne as a loaner a while back, it misses a turbo. Slowing down at roundabouts leaves it completely powerless when trying to pull away again.

The 40d with the double turbo is a much, much nicer drive.

Cayenne S is the V8 diesel so you won't get any hesitation wth that one bags of power and torque.

To the OP if you are an old man like the two that have replied so far then get the X5. If you appreciate Your driving then get the cayenne. It is a far better, more engaging drive.

The current X5 has totally lost its way as a drivers car.

Hi thanks , felt the V6 Diesel under powered so have the dealer arranging for a V8 test drive he recons they are like chalk and cheese . I loved the shape of the E70 but still not sure on the F15 will there be an update shortly as I am in no rush ?

Just realised that you were really tight and didn't pay for the coloured crests on the wheels !!

I won't even mention the fact that your brake calipers are the wrong colour....
