Ended up with a reasonable discount off list, a dealer contribution to the deposit, plus got a much better trade-in on my 07 525d than I was expecting. All together about 10% off from my perspective. Happy enough with the deal, although someone will probably now tell me I could have done better
At the end of the day, I've made no compromises on the spec and it's exactly what I wanted.
I did have a chuckle every time the salesman (who was a genuinely good guy) told me how the X series cars were just walking out the door at list price and customer discounts were a thing of the past
) Anyway.... the deal is done. Now for the long wait......
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
