Bump

Just thought I'd add

I bought one of these (well two as we have 2 E53s) and I can honestly say they're brilliant. Look good, wipe good, fit good.

A bit pricey but they look a lot nicer than the angle iron that was there before

Just did the upgrade this weekend after my old one was losing contact at the top of the windscreen, pleased to report the new one does a much better job.

Anyone know if you can use E70 arms for the front? Mine are looking a little worse for wear.

I am also suffering with my back window wiper blade not making contact in all places, just ordered a rear E70 one from StorminMike's link above, £22.60 delivered.  :)

You have to cut them down as the e70 has a large windscreen.  This is on my list of todos as well. do a search here or on xoutpost for my details as it is not a direct swap like the rear.

Just a reminder of a previous post for E53 owners: rear wiper blade not wiping along its whole length can be improved by a few drops of easing oil at the pivot point at the drive end of the blade near the hub.  It helps because friction in that pivot frustrates the spring from pulling the blade as hard onto the rear screen as it should.
Hope this helps,

It's amazing how such a simple thing at the back improves the appearance....and for once wipes the glass too

Tried some of those adaptive flat blades but not gone the whole hog and upgraded the arms too. They do look a tad better but they haven't won me over
