Hi, my boot pops open on its own. This can be whilst I'm driving or parked up. The other night I was in bed and my alarm started going off and the boot had popped open. I closed it and it did it 3 more times until the morning.
I've taken out the tailgate fuse and this has stopped it from popping open but I now obviously can't open my tailgate, the boot still works fine tho.
Any suggestions?

Wouldnt like that to happen when driving with the dog in the boot!

Ours did that 4/5 times in one day last week. At first I thought I was accidentally touching the remote button when i was starting the car but it did it as I was driving as well. My remote door locks don't work at the moment so l closed everything, locked and unlocked with key and its not done it since.

I had to have the tailgate catch replaced. Can't recall if it was upper section lock mechanism or lower catch.

It could be water ingress into the micros witch that opens the tailgate, we've had some realy bad rain of late.
