Folding Wing Mirrors Issues on Facelift Model

Hi guys,

We have a BMW E53 4.4i sport on a 04 reg in the family. When pressing the button to fold the mirrors in the mirrors fold in but fold straight back out again.

Any ideas what could be causing the issue and how to fix?

Try this.. with the mirrors in the normal folded out position, manually fold them in by hand. Then see if the button works normally.

Faulty microswitch, there should be some threads on it on here. i think Sanj replaced microswitches, hopefully he or others will be along soon.......
