If it's an bmw warranty they should approve of all repairs!

Hi

You can use any main dealer you like.

The only time you would be advised to take it to your supplying dealer is if there is anything you find amiss that may not be covered by the guidelines of the warranty cover like trim issues for example. if that's the case it's better to go to your supplying dealer as they may then assist on a goodwil basis as they sold you the car.

Hope the car is a good one.

Cheers

.....and before you take it off the forecourt, or sign anything, check it, check it and check it again.  Your supplying dealer may be a good one, but don't trust them a millimetre!

I found defects on my brand new X6 four years ago that the dealer has missed.  Same with the X5 and Mini.

I bought my x5 from john clarke in scotland was delivered on a transporter 600miles to my home covered in dust and debris when i washed it i saw loads of paint defects and no locking wheel nuts so it went to local dealer and £700 later was perfect. Supplying dealer picked up the bill. Front tyres almost bald and wipers worn...very disappointing for an AUC car just over 3 yrs old but i do have 2yr AUC warranty which may come in useful.

so check car very carefully and send email to dealer with list of faults that need addressing (trim not covered under warranty but tyres must be 3mm across)

I'm still trying to work out why you want a "daft warranty" instead of a decent one????
