Has anyone taken off their mud flaps

My car came with mudflaps

Not a big fan of them

Problem is the plastic rubbing has marked the paint work

I just want to know if I can just take them off or will the arch line need new securings?

Its easy, you remove the centre pin (3mm) in the middle od the trim studs by either pulling the pin forward (if you can get hold of it) or pushing the pin all the way through. the stud is can then be removed and the flaps are free. If you manage to pull the pins forward you can use these to fill the holes once you have removed the flaps. One word of caution, once removed you will have to clean your car more often. )

And finding it hard to keep them in a good original black finish
