As topic suggests. The headlights (sidelights, main beam and full beam) all work but there are no lights showing on the dashboard that they are on. Have run a 2.0 test and shows that the lights do actually work... Just not when they should. Does anybody have a solution for this. Can show photos if necessary.

Might be a missing signal from the lighting control module? If the dash is anything like mine, it's just a control module in its own right with a power and data input/output connections on a single connector.
Do you get a lights on 'bong' when you switch the car off/open a door etc or is that missing too?

Yeh, it still makes a bong noise if i leave them on... Saw on another forum something to do with a ride height level sensor that can affect dashboard lights. Do you know how much the light control module costs?

:doh: I did wonder, but as yours is an X3 it might have been different. My other half calls them 'senior moments'......
