BMW Mondial Warranty

Post by Imy » Thu Jun 25, 2015 9:41 am

Hi,

Just needed some advice really.

I have bought a 4dr 335i. Its a 2007 with 95k miles. Its got a full BMW service history, who also replaced both of the turbos earlier in the yr.

Ive looked at getting a warranty on the car - because its over the 60k mile threshold its not very cheap. When I was talking to the sales guy he told me that items of deemed wear and tear are not covered - which I already knew.

Is it worth getting the warranty since it has 95k they could argue that everything bar the turbos possibly is down to wear and tear?

Does anyone have experience with such a warranty and high miles?

Thanks
Imy

Nice on Imy and congrats on the new motor now...

:worthless:

And talk to Raj regards the warranty and parts that CAN go wrong - he has one after all.  :)

Think he got a BMW warranty after he'd bought it (think it needs FBMWSH though, but ask).

Cheers Sanj,

I did pick Raj's brains before I went to get it and it does have a full BMW service history. Query was just that since it has 95k miles, would it be worth getting as with that sort of mileage any warranty provider could argue that its all wear and tear!

Pics in a bit...
