BMW 730D sold...on lookout for BMW X5 however have a question

Post by Shez1878 » Sun Jun 28, 2015 10:51 pm

Evening All,

Sold my rather stunning BMW 730D and now looking for an X5 however proving a real challenge as my budget is 18k and I need a low mileage vehicle with a reversing camera.

Practically impossible so far so question is, how much would it cost to get a reversing camera retrofitted?

Cheers

DIY approx £100 ish..

Dealer ??????????

Think of Greeces overdraft and multiply by a randomly plucked figure....
If things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
Please note...
Anything I say is only from my personal experience and knowledge..
I don't assume to know everything, and know there is a lot I don't know..
But then I could be talking bollox.. O:-)

If you go for a car which already has pro Nav with the TV function, then the OEM kit is the best part of £500.  That does not include VAT or fitting!

If you pick a car with no Nav or TV then you will also need a video multiplexer module and the costs rocket!

And you may also need to purchase a licence key for the iDrive in order to 'enable' the function.

Much better to buy one with.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
