From all my research - it was the X5 all day long!
Anyway - have sourced a LHD 2004 facelift 3.0d which is currently on UK plates, but was originally a Spanish vehicle (with all the spanish paperwork and service history etc) so will be changing it back to a Spanish reg once we get setled out there. Black with red leather (an EU spec I believe) that looks great!
Meantime, before we depart these shores maybe I'll 'pimp' it up a tad with a few goodies from ebay and a remap from Jason who seems to have very good reviews on here, and as I'm near London, why not!
Good to know there's this forum to fall back on if I have any 'issues' when out of the UK and nobody in the local garage understands me - que???
