Hi all my headlight washers have decided to stay out once used.
It started when it was really cold, the passenger side stays full out and the driver's side retracts halfway.
So I WD-40'd the little shaft. Seemed to cure it, but now it's gone cold again outside the passenger one stays out again.
Any tips?
Thanks in advance

Re: Headlight washers sometimes stay out
Are the pipes clean?
I failed the MOT on them NOT pushing up when a activated and turned out to be sludge in the system which was preventing pressure in the line pushing it up. But could equally be something similar in terms of it not releasing back down. :noexpression:

WD40 will attract dust, use a graphite based lubricant.
