Hi all,
First of all, welcome to Xdrivers. It is very unfortunate what has happened at BMWland but you are all welcome to join us here whilst it is unclear what the future holds for the site (and any time afterwards as well of course).
This is a very friendly site, we don't only talk about X models as we have a general interest in all interesting cars (see my sig ::) ). We also "entertain" non BMW drivers such as 535dboy whose company we have had to suffer for many years now.
One requirement really - whatever the car, model - pictures are most welcome ...

Re: BMWland forum users
Sad news indeed re Matt.
I onfirm being a member on bmwland and other boards too.
I certainly do not object to decent bmwland members being on here....that is so long as they can tolerate us, our various BMW X vehicles & our more diverse and outspoken members.
In the longer term it would be good to see something else come about forum wise although clearly now is not that time.
We have quite a few on here who own non X models and some who dont even own BMW's.
This site came about on back of an older one being lost - I for one posted on other sites , ( including bmwland) , before during and indeed after in that interim period.
May I just ask (to avoid confusing us here) is that folk humour us by trying not to post non relevant content in model specific sections........E.g. Don't post a pic of your 728i in the E70 sectins etc etc.
So welcome to any bmwland folk, whether staying a while or passing through
Regards
AW8
