BMWLand forum down?

I have been trying to get on the BMWLand forum for a couple of days now but I keep getting a message saying

'BMWLand is currently optimizing a database. Please check back after 10 mins. Thanks.'

Is anyone else having the same problems?

That's very sad, it was one of the first car forums I started using and Matt always came across as a gentleman.

I've just had an email exchange with one of the other key players on there and he confirms all of the above.

Did he indicate that it might be brought back online any time soon?  From my source and from what I understand no one else has the database password.  I also spoke to Cotswold BMW on the phone.

That is correct, nobody else has access to the hosted server and security is pretty high he says.

He is not sure if something will emerge in time but obviously not critical in the scheme of things.
