After what feels like ages I have decided to buy these lights for my pre-facelift non xenon E53 :
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111287197110? ... rmvSB=true
My question is, they look a little dull / yellow so how easy is it to fit an HID kit to the lights ?
I can wire a plug, put up a shelf, but is it a job for a pro (if indeed an HID kit can be added to these lights)
Thanks
Ro.

Angel Eyes for pre-facelift E53.....HID ?
Re: Angel Eyes for pre-facelift E53.....HID ?
Hi.
They do look a bit dull but so do facelift ones tbh.
I like things to look as original as possible so I think your choice looks good as you know its what bmw had in mind anyway. It is probably fairly easy to HID them up anyway as most headlights are, just need to make sure u don't trigger the check control.
With my old e32 7 (also past e34 and e36) series I changed to clear front indicators (not crystal) as I think it looks so much better but tbh nobody would really notice.....even though they were all built with amber lenses. But put them side by side...... Huge difference
